Gardener for Private Residence in Los Angeles



We are seeking an experienced Gardener to maintain and care for the gardens of a private residence in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and a keen eye for detail, as well as a strong understanding of plant care and landscaping techniques.

Responsibilities:

- Design and maintain garden beds, including planting, pruning, watering, and fertilizing
- Monitor soil conditions and adjust watering and fertilization as needed
- Identify and treat plant diseases or pests
- Maintain lawn areas, including mowing, edging, and weeding
- Install new plants and landscaping features as needed
- Regularly inspect garden equipment and report any necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with homeowners to ensure the gardens reflect their preferences and style
- Keep the garden area clean and tidy at all times

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Gardener or in a similar role is required
- In-depth knowledge of plant care, landscaping techniques, and common garden pests and diseases
- Strong physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects, kneeling, bending, etc.
- Attention to detail to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the gardens
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to collaborate with homeowners on their preferences

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1300 per month.

Location:
The private residence is located in Los Angeles.

Preference:
