Mason: City of Angels



As a Mason in the beautiful city of Los Angeles, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. You will work on both residential and commercial projects, creating beautiful and functional spaces for the community. We are seeking a skilled Mason who is passionate about their craft and has a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lay out foundations according to blueprints or specifications
- Mix mortar and spread it evenly to hold bricks or other materials in place
- Build walls and other structures using different types of bricks or blocks
- Cut or trim bricks or blocks to fit around windows, doors, corners or pipes
- Use various tools such as trowels, levels, hammers, and saws to complete projects
- Repair any damaged structures by replacing broken bricks or blocks
- Work with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean worksite and adhere to safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, materials, and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints or drawings to execute projects accurately
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials as needed
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
- Must have own visa for employment
