Head Baker
As a Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery in Los Angeles. Your main duties will include creating and implementing new recipes, managing inventory, training and supervising other bakers, and ensuring high quality standards are met. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.
To excel in this role, you must have prior experience as a baker and possess strong leadership skills. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are also essential. Additionally, you must have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new recipes for our bakery
- Manage inventory levels to ensure we always have fresh products available
- Train and supervise other bakers on proper techniques and procedures
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their orders
- Monitor product quality to ensure it meets our high standards
- Create schedules for other bakers to ensure proper coverage during operating hours
- Keep track of sales data to make informed decisions about production levels
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a baker or similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise others effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Salary: $1500 per month (based on experience)
