Loader for Part-Time Position in Los Angeles



We are in need of a reliable and hardworking Loader to join our team on a part-time basis in Los Angeles. As a Loader, you will be responsible for loading and unloading goods and materials from trucks, trains, or other vehicles. This is a physically demanding role that requires strength, stamina, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods and materials from trucks, trains, or other vehicles
- Verify contents of shipments against shipping documents
- Organize and arrange items on trucks or other vehicles for efficient transportation
- Ensure that all items are securely packed and properly loaded to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate records of goods being loaded or unloaded
- Communicate with drivers to ensure timely loading and unloading of materials
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling heavy equipment
- Keep work area clean and free of debris

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a Loader or in a similar role is an asset
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
