We are in search of a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Akron. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our company's network and computer systems. Your role will involve troubleshooting any technical issues that arise, implementing security measures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our network.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Manage Active Directory including user accounts, group policies, and security permissions
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Perform regular backups of data and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place
- Upgrade network infrastructure as needed to support company growth
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware/software related issues

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN technologies, DNS/DHCP
- Experience with Active Directory management
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1200 per month (contract job)

Location: Akron (local candidates preferred)
