Back-End Developer - Akron, USA


We are seeking an experienced Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Akron, USA. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the back-end of our web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of server-side languages such as Java, Python or Ruby and experience working with databases such as SQL or MongoDB. You should also have a good understanding of front-end technologies and be able to collaborate with front-end developers to integrate their work with the back-end. This is a contract job with accommodation provided and own visa preferred. Urgent candidates are encouraged to apply.

Salary: $1400/month

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing efficient and scalable server-side code
- Developing and maintaining database architecture
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Writing clean, maintainable and testable code
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues in a timely manner
- Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Back-End Developer
- Strong understanding of server-side languages such as Java, Python or Ruby
- Experience working with databases such as SQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of software development life cycle
