Junior DevOps Developer


We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior DevOps Developer to join our team in Akron. As a Junior DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and deployment of software applications, while working closely with our development and IT operations teams. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development team to implement continuous integration and delivery processes
- Automate software build, test and deployment processes
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Create and maintain documentation for software processes and procedures
- Work closely with IT operations team to ensure smooth deployment of applications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Ruby
- Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Location Preference: While we prefer candidates who are located in Akron, we are open to remote work for exceptional candidates.
