Machine Learning Engineer - Contract Position (Akron, USA)
We are searching for a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Akron, USA. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to improve our products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and identifying potential areas of improvement for our products using machine learning techniques
- Designing and developing machine learning models to analyze large datasets and provide insights for decision-making
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and integrate machine learning solutions into existing systems
- Developing data pipelines to clean, preprocess, and transform data for use in machine learning models
- Evaluating the performance of machine learning models and implementing improvements as needed
- Staying updated on the latest advancements in machine learning techniques and incorporating them into our processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, decision trees, support vector machines, etc.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and model development
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL queries for data extraction
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about complex issues
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with large datasets using distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop or Spark
- Familiarity with deep learning techniques such as neural networks and convolutional neural networks
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure
