Junior Android Developer
Location: Akron, Ohio, USA



Our fast-growing tech company is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Android Developer to join our team in Akron. As a key member of our mobile development team, you will work closely with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for our Android apps
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java and Kotlin
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing apps
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies
- Work on bug fixes and improve app performance
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Solid understanding of Java or Kotlin programming language
- Familiarity with the Android SDK, API's, and Google Play Store Submission process
- Experience working with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing native Android apps
- Understanding of Git version control system
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Published at least one app on the Google Play Store
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
