Part-Time Formworker in Akron, OH



We are seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Formworker to join our construction team in Akron, OH. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for creating molds and forms for concrete structures such as walls, beams, and columns.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine the size and shape of the formwork needed
- Measure and cut materials such as wood, metal, or plastic to create formwork
- Assemble forms on site according to specifications
- Place reinforcing bars or mesh inside the forms to reinforce the concrete structure
- Pour concrete into the forms and smooth it using various tools such as trowels or floats
- Check the alignment and level of the formwork before pouring concrete
- Remove forms after the concrete has set and clean up the work area
- Repair or replace damaged formwork as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Formworker is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Knowledge of different types of formwork materials and their uses
- Basic understanding of concrete pouring techniques
- Physical stamina to work outdoors for extended periods of time in varying weather conditions
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The job may require standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials. You must have your own transportation to travel between job sites in Akron, OH.

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at $1000 per month.
