Heavy Equipment Operator


We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Akron. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to move materials and complete construction projects. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the equipment, while following all safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow project plans and blueprints to complete tasks accurately
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and complete projects on schedule
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work site

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours

Preference:
- Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment
- Previous experience working in a construction or similar setting

Salary: $1700/month (negotiable based on experience)
