Junior Architectural Designer

We are hiring a Junior Architectural Designer to join our team in Akron. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and planning of architectural projects, under the guidance of more experienced architects. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial, and gain valuable hands-on experience in all stages of the design process.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Architecture or a related field and at least 2 years of experience working as an architectural designer. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software is required. You should also have a strong understanding of building codes and regulations.

As a Junior Architectural Designer, your responsibilities will include creating detailed drawings and models, conducting site visits and surveys, collaborating with senior architects on design concepts, and communicating with clients to understand their needs and preferences. You will also assist with project management tasks such as budgeting and scheduling.
