Commercial Architect


We are seeking a skilled Commercial Architect to join our team in Akron. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings, including offices, retail spaces, and hotels. Your role will involve working closely with clients to understand their needs and creating designs that meet their specifications and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss project requirements and objectives
- Create detailed plans, blueprints, and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Review building codes and regulations to ensure compliance with local laws
- Work with contractors to ensure that construction plans are followed accurately
- Monitor progress of construction projects and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with engineers, interior designers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive design
- Conduct site visits during different stages of construction to assess progress and address any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited institution
- Proven experience as a Commercial Architect
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month with accommodation provided.

Location:
This position is based in Akron but may require occasional travel to client sites within the surrounding area.
