Experienced Excavator Operator in Akron

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Akron. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction projects. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the excavator while maintaining high levels of productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator to dig trenches, foundations, and other excavations according to project plans
- Load and unload materials from trucks using the excavator's bucket or other attachments
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on the equipment to ensure its proper functioning
- Follow safety procedures at all times and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate work tasks and ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating an excavator in a construction setting
- Valid operator's license for heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team
