Junior Accountant



We are a growing accounting firm in Akron looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Conducting basic audits of financial records
- Assisting with tax preparation and filing
- Communicating with clients regarding their financial information
- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or currently enrolled in an accredited program)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks (or other accounting software)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:
- Previous internship or work experience in an accounting role
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Familiarity with tax laws and regulations
