Delivery Driver - Akron, OH, USA


Our delivery company is seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team in Akron, OH. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations within the city.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Plan delivery routes to maximize efficiency and ensure on-time deliveries
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle in a safe and organized manner
- Inspect vehicle before and after each trip for any maintenance or safety issues
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and obtain signatures as needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location and quantity of goods delivered
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately to management

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
- Familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods in Akron is preferred but not required

Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month plus bonuses based on performance. Additionally, we provide health insurance benefits after 90 days of employment.
