Entry-Level Truck Driver in Akron, Ohio

Our trucking company is seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Truck Driver in Akron, Ohio. This is a contract job with a starting salary of $1400 per month. We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard and learn the ropes of the trucking industry.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain company trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Transport goods and materials from one location to another
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and any incidents that may occur
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Basic understanding of truck maintenance and repair
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to read maps/directions

Preferred:
- Prior experience as a truck driver or in a related field
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
