Land Surveyor


A well-established land surveying company in Akron is seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying and possess strong knowledge of surveying principles.

As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine property boundaries, prepare topographic maps, and assist with construction layout. You will also be required to use various surveying equipment including total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using traditional techniques as well as modern equipment
- Prepare accurate topographic maps and boundary surveys
- Assist with construction layout and provide accurate measurements for site development
- Utilize surveying software to process data and produce reports
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project success
- Conduct research on existing property records and legal documents

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Land Surveyor
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Surveying or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and techniques
- Proficient in using total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors
- Ability to read and interpret maps, plans, blueprints, and legal documents
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

Salary:
We offer competitive salary packages starting at $1500 per month based on experience.

Location:
This position is located in Akron. Relocation assistance may be provided for out-of-state candidates.
