Courier Delivery Associate

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier Delivery Associate to join our team in Akron, Ohio. This is a contract position with the opportunity for growth and development within the company. As a courier, you will be responsible for delivering packages and documents to various locations in a timely and safe manner.

Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver packages and documents to designated locations
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company standards
- Use navigation tools to plan the most efficient route for deliveries
- Communicate delivery status with clients and address any concerns or issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicle
- Keep vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times

Requirements:
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- High school diploma or equivalent education required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a courier or in a related field preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with GPS/navigation tools for planning routes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
