Hotel Sales Manager
The hotel sales manager is responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing efforts of the hotel to drive revenue and increase occupancy. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proven track record of success in sales management within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and relationship building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to create promotional offers and packages
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve their targets
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and revenue management principles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Familiarity with CRM software is preferred
- Must have own visa for employment in Akron
