Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager
The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities within the hotel, including developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality sales and a proven track record of achieving sales goals. This position requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. The Hotel Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives and providing training and support to ensure their success. This role is located in Akron, with a salary of 1400$ per month (without accommodation) and requires a biometric passport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase hotel revenue
- Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients
- Manage a team of sales representatives and provide training and support to ensure their success
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring profitability for the hotel
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including customer information and revenue generated
- Collaborate with other departments within the hotel, such as marketing and operations, to ensure smooth operations
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the hotel and generate leads
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales management or related field
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards success
- Knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Willingness to travel for industry events and networking opportunities
- Biometric passport required for international travel
