Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen operations. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that high-quality and consistent dishes are served to our guests. Your role will require strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in creating and implementing menus that are both creative and cost-effective.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to our standards of excellence.
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior members of the kitchen team.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and health codes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts preferred.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and creativity when it comes to menu planning.
Salary: $1400 per month
