Executive Chef
The prestigious Al-Khor Hotel is seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and implementing our menu, managing food costs and inventory, and ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your creativity by developing new and innovative dishes that cater to a diverse clientele.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that reflect our hotel's concept, using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Manage food costs by implementing effective purchasing strategies and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, sanitation practices, and menu items
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness standards at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of banquets and special events
