Architectural Technologist - Part-time Student Position



We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our team in Remish. This is a part-time position ideal for students looking to gain practical experience in the field while completing their studies.

As an Architectural Technologist, you will work closely with our team of architects and engineers to assist in the development of construction drawings, 3D models, and other technical documents for various projects. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to design concepts and collaborate with clients and contractors.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize your knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction techniques to assist in the development of construction documents
- Create detailed 3D models using software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet technical requirements and client specifications
- Conduct site visits and assist in conducting surveys for existing buildings
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the design process
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, advancements in technology, and building codes

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in an accredited architectural technology program or related field
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other architectural software
- Familiarity with building codes, materials, and construction techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
