Junior Pastry Chef
We are in search of a talented and passionate Junior Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in the beautiful mountain town of Bansko, Bulgaria. As a Junior Pastry Chef, you will work alongside our experienced pastry team to create delicious and visually stunning desserts for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of all pastry menu items
- Follow recipes and presentation guidelines accurately
- Maintain high standards of food quality and consistency
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all pastry ingredients
- Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service of desserts during busy periods
- Keep work area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve skills
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
- Passion for creating visually appealing desserts with attention to detail
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality products
- Good time management skills, able to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members in English
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.
