Seamstress in Osijek (Contract)


We are in search of a skilled Seamstress to join our team in Osijek on a contract basis. As a Seamstress, you will be responsible for creating and repairing garments and other fabric items. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting fabric, sewing pieces together, and adding final touches such as buttons or zippers. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about sewing and has strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure and cut fabric according to patterns or measurements
- Sew pieces together using different techniques (e.g. hand sewing, machine sewing)
- Follow instructions from designers or clients to create custom garments
- Repair damaged garments by mending tears, replacing buttons, etc.
- Add final touches such as buttons, zippers, or decorative elements
- Ensure quality control by checking each garment for possible defects
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies when needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Seamstress or similar role
- Knowledge of different sewing techniques and equipment
- Experience with both hand sewing and machine sewing
- Ability to read patterns and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certificate or degree in fashion design or related field
- Experience with creating custom garments based on client specifications
- Knowledge of various types of fabrics and their properties

Salary & Benefits:

This is a contract position paying $1300 per month. The selected candidate will also receive a free visa and ticket to Osijek.

Note: This position is open to all nationalities; however, preference will be given to candidates who are currently residing in or willing to relocate to Osijek.
