Chemical Engineer - Process Optimization Specialist



As a Chemical Engineer specializing in process optimization, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving the efficiency of our production processes at our facility in Ar-Ruwais. Your role will involve utilizing your strong technical knowledge and expertise to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of production processes and identifying areas for optimization
- Developing and implementing innovative strategies to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions
- Monitoring process performance through data analysis and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve processes
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Chemical Engineer in a process optimization role
- Proven experience in improving process efficiency and reducing costs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Knowledge of relevant software programs such as Aspen HYSYS or PRO/II is preferred
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required
