Chemical Engineer - Process Optimization Specialist
Location: Ar-Ruwais, United Arab Emirates


We are currently seeking a highly skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, United Arab Emirates. As a Process Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our chemical processes through continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough process evaluations to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and implement optimization strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of chemical processes
- Utilize advanced engineering principles and techniques to troubleshoot process issues and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and quality control to implement process changes
- Monitor process performance indicators and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal production levels
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new processes and update existing SOPs as necessary
- Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in chemical engineering to continuously improve processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a chemical engineering role with a focus on process optimization
- Strong knowledge of chemical processing principles, equipment, and techniques
- Experience with computer simulations and modeling software such as Aspen HYSYS or ChemCAD
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of implementing successful process improvements that resulted in cost savings or increased efficiency

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.

Contract Type:
This is a contract position with a duration of 1 year.
