Contract Librarian in Lom, Bulgaria



As a Contract Librarian in Lom, Bulgaria, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the library and providing excellent customer service to patrons. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month, and accommodation will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the organization and maintenance of library materials
- Assisting patrons with locating resources and providing research assistance
- Managing circulation processes, including checking books in and out
- Cataloging new materials and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with other library staff to plan and implement programs and events
- Staying updated on industry trends and incorporating new technologies into library services
- Ensuring a clean, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Science or related field
- Knowledge of library systems and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English (Bulgarian language proficiency is preferred)
- Experience working in a library setting is an asset
