Hotel Sales Manager
Location: Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Hotel Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy for our hotel. You will also be in charge of managing relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other potential sources of business.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed targets for room revenue, group bookings, and other hotel services
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Build relationships with key corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential customers
- Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase the hotel's facilities and services
- Negotiate contracts with clients to secure group bookings and long-term agreements
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that drive sales
- Monitor competitor activity, rates, and trends in the market to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to management
- Train and mentor junior sales staff to ensure they meet their targets

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of revenue management principles is a plus

Salary: 1700$
