Hotel Sales Manager
We are hiring a Hotel Sales Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in Nairobi. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates. You will also be in charge of managing the hotel's sales team, analyzing market trends, and building relationships with potential clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales management
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team
- Knowledge of local market trends and competition in the hospitality industry
- Ability to travel for client meetings and events
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase hotel bookings and revenue
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Manage the hotel's sales team, including setting goals, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations
- Establish relationships with potential clients through networking events, trade shows, and client visits
- Negotiate contracts with corporate clients for group bookings or long-term stays
- Work closely with other departments such as marketing, revenue management, and operations to ensure efficient operations and maximize revenue opportunities.
