Job Title: Contract Accountant

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Contract Accountant to join our team in Bungoma. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. You will also be responsible for preparing financial reports, budgeting, and analyzing financial data to provide recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain budgets for various projects and departments.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Handle tax preparation and filing duties.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary: $1600 per month
