Dietitian


As a Dietitian in Bungoma, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition advice and support to clients. Your main goal will be to help clients achieve optimal health and wellness through personalized dietary plans and counseling.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments of clients and developing personalized meal plans based on their needs, preferences, and health goals
- Providing nutrition education and counseling to clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and food choices
- Monitoring client progress and making adjustments to their dietary plans as needed
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Staying up-to-date with the latest research in nutrition science and incorporating it into practice
- Promoting healthy eating through educational workshops, seminars, and community events
- Maintaining accurate records of client consultations and progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Dietitian
- Valid license or registration from relevant governing body (e.g. Commission on Dietetic Registration)
- Strong knowledge of principles of nutrition science and ability to translate it into practical recommendations for clients
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively educate and motivate clients
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Proficient in using technology for meal planning, tracking client progress, and maintaining records

Salary: $1400 per month
