Electrical Engineer- Bungoma, Kenya


A reputable engineering firm in Bungoma is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining electrical systems and components to required specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems in buildings, equipment, and machinery
- Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications for new or existing projects
- Conduct inspection and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with electrical systems or equipment
- Collaborate with other engineers and team members to develop innovative solutions for complex problems
- Prepare cost estimates and project timelines for clients
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology and industry standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other relevant software
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and codes/regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Bungoma, Kenya
