Job Title: Instrument Technician in Bungoma, Kenya



Our company is in need of a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of various instruments and equipment used in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain and repair various instruments such as pressure gauges, transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors and control valves.
- Troubleshoot instrument issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Conduct regular calibration checks to ensure accurate readings and proper functioning of instruments.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on instruments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on instruments or equipment.
- Support process engineers in testing new instruments or making upgrades to existing ones.
- Train junior technicians on instrument maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of different types of instruments used in industrial processes.
- Skilled in reading technical schematics and diagrams related to instrument systems.
- Familiarity with various tools and equipment used for installing or repairing instruments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and superiors.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month. Accommodation will not be provided but we will offer free visa sponsorship and ticket for the selected candidate. This job is open to candidates of all nationalities who are willing to relocate to Bungoma, Kenya.
