Collector (Bungoma, Kenya)


As a Collector in Bungoma, Kenya, you will be responsible for collecting payments from customers on behalf of our company. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$, along with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone or in person to collect payments
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns regarding their outstanding balances
- Keep track of payment deadlines and ensure timely collection
- Maintain accurate records of all collections and transactions
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor
- Work closely with the accounting department to reconcile payments
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Proficient in basic computer applications such as MS Office

Working Conditions:
The Collector will work Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional overtime as needed. The job may require standing or sitting for extended periods of time and interacting with customers in person or over the phone.
