CNC Operator (Bungoma, Kenya)


We are in need of a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in Bungoma. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines, which are used to cut and shape metal and plastic parts for various industries. Your main goal will be to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and cutting
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the necessary adjustments and tooling requirements
- Monitor machine operations and ensure proper functioning, making necessary adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality standards and make any necessary corrections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures and regulations
- Troubleshoot issues with the machines or tools as needed
- Document production activities and report any malfunctions or defects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
- Knowledge of G-code programming language is preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
- Basic understanding of machine tools and their functions
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus

Salary:
