Excavator Operator

We are hiring a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This includes excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and other construction equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and others.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform minor repairs or adjustments when needed.
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine the best approach for excavation.
- Dig trenches and holes according to specifications provided by engineers or supervisors.
- Load and unload materials using the excavator.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations and completed tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment, specifically excavators.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read construction plans and follow instructions accordingly.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

This is a part-time position located in Nakuru, Kenya.
