Seasonal Executive Chef
Location: Nakuru, Kenya



As a Seasonal Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the culinary operations of our seasonal restaurant in Nakuru, Kenya. You will lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to create and execute delicious and visually appealing dishes using fresh, local ingredients. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced chef to showcase their skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Create unique and seasonal menus that cater to a diverse range of tastes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Oversee the ordering, receiving, and storage of food supplies
- Ensure all dishes are prepared with high-quality ingredients and presented beautifully
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary guidelines
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, recipes, and presentation styles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Fluent in English (Swahili is an asset)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this seasonal position.
