Instrument Technician Assistant

We are hiring a part-time Instrument Technician Assistant in Nakuru, Kenya. As an assistant to our experienced instrument technician, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and equipment. This is an ideal opportunity for a fresh graduate or someone without prior experience in the field to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills. The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of instruments and equipment
- Perform basic troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
- Clean and calibrate instruments according to established procedures
- Keep accurate records of work performed and any equipment used
- Assist with inventory management of spare parts and supplies
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working with instruments and equipment

Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field (preference given to recent graduates)
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and instrumentation principles
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from senior technicians
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods)
- Flexibility to work part-time hours (approximately 20 hours per week) on weekdays or weekends as needed.
