Merchandiser for Retail Store in Nakuru, Kenya

We are in need of an experienced Merchandiser to join our team at a retail store in Nakuru. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring products are displayed effectively, and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure products are displayed attractively and according to company guidelines
- Implement promotions and sales strategies to increase revenue
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and preferences
- Communicate with suppliers and negotiate pricing and delivery terms
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competition
- Train new merchandisers on company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a merchandiser in a retail setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make decisions regarding product placement and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of market trends, customer preferences, and competition in the retail industry
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred
