Power Engineer Intern
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Power Engineer Intern to join our team in Nakuru. As a Power Engineer Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to support the design, development, and testing of power systems. This is an excellent opportunity for students studying engineering or a related field to gain hands-on experience and apply their knowledge in a real-world setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in designing and testing power systems
- Conduct research and gather data to support project development
- Create technical drawings and reports using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with team members to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical equipment
- Participate in meetings and presentations to discuss project progress
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an engineering or related degree program
- Basic understanding of power engineering principles
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt
Salary:
This is a paid internship position with a salary of $1600 per month.
Location:
Nakuru, Kenya. This position is open to all nationalities.
