Milling Machine Operator

We are hiring a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Nakuru. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This is a full-time position and requires a biometric passport.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to perform various machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining procedures
- Measure dimensions of finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments
- Inspect machined parts for defects and make necessary adjustments
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain machinery by performing routine maintenance tasks
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a milling machine operator or similar role
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
- Familiarity with various types of metals and their properties
- Ability to operate manual and computer-controlled machinery
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods of time
