Debt Recovery Officer



As a Debt Recovery Officer, you will be responsible for recovering outstanding debts and managing the collection process for our company. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and persistence in dealing with clients who have overdue payments.

Responsibilities:
- Contact clients via phone, email, and mail to collect outstanding debts
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and payments
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or disputes relating to debt collection
- Provide regular updates on collection progress to the management team

Requirements:
- Proven experience in debt collection or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult conversations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
