Body Repair Master
As a Body Repair Master, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the bodywork of vehicles in our workshop. This includes identifying and assessing damage, conducting necessary repairs and replacements, and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard. You will also be responsible for managing a team of body repair technicians, ensuring their work meets our quality standards and providing guidance and training as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspecting damaged vehicles and assessing the extent of the damage
- Planning and executing repairs, including welding, sanding, painting, and panel beating
- Ordering necessary parts and materials to complete repairs
- Managing a team of body repair technicians, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within the agreed upon timeframe
- Maintaining accurate records of all repairs and replacements
- Conducting quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets our standards
- Providing guidance and training to junior technicians as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Body Repair Master or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle bodywork repair techniques
- Experience with welding, sanding, painting, panel beating, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Must have own visa for working in Nakuru
Salary: $1700/month
