Seasonal Concierge in Nakuru, Kenya



Our luxury hotel in Nakuru, Kenya is seeking a professional and customer-oriented Seasonal Concierge to join our team for the busy season. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by fulfilling their requests and assisting them with any needs during their stay.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Provide information about the hotel and local area attractions
- Make reservations for dining, transportation, and other activities
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and courteous manner
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Maintain knowledge of current events, local news, and weather to provide relevant recommendations to guests
- Keep the lobby area clean and presentable at all times
- Assist with luggage handling when needed
- Follow safety protocols to ensure the security of guests' belongings

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have own visa or work permit for Kenya

Salary:
Starting salary is $1100 per month.

Accommodation:
This is a seasonal position without accommodation provided. However, our hotel can assist with finding suitable housing options for employees if needed.
