Key Responsibilities:
- Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure correct amounts.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Greet customers warmly and respond to their inquiries.
- Scan items, collect payments, and issue receipts or change to customers.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment methods, and other company information.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Proven working experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred.
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
