Waiter/Waitress in Mombasa, Kenya

We are searching for a skilled and friendly Waiter/Waitress to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also handle payments and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a timely manner
- Present menus to customers and answer any questions
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Serve food and drinks to customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on them regularly
- Handle payments through cash or credit card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress or similar role
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends

Preferred:
- Diploma in Hospitality or related field
- Fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
