House Maid - Mombasa, Kenya


We are in need of a reliable and hardworking House Maid to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a House Maid, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our employer's home. Your main duties will include dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as doing laundry and ironing clothes.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working as a House Maid or similar position. You should also have knowledge of cleaning products and techniques to ensure the highest level of cleanliness is maintained. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all areas of the house including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and kitchen
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Doing laundry and ironing clothes
- Changing bed linens and making beds
- Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly
- Keeping track of household supplies and notifying employer when items need to be restocked
- Reporting any damages or needed repairs to the employer

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a House Maid or similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques for different surfaces
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and carrying out tasks throughout the day
- Good communication skills in English (Swahili is an advantage)
