Part-Time Tutor (Mombasa, Kenya)


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Part-Time Tutor to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality academic support to students in various subjects. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects.
- Develop customized lesson plans and teaching materials based on individual student needs.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians.
- Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation.
- Maintain a safe and productive learning environment for students.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a tutor or teacher.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the subject(s) being taught.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Additional Preferences:
- Previous experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of different teaching methods and strategies.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms.
